Invitation Letter

Re: Better Outcomes for Children
Getting Prevention Science Into Mainstream Policy & Practice.

Please find enclosed invite to the first in our series of seminars which Together 4 All (T4A) will be hosting in 2009.
Together 4 All is funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies to implement the first phase of a 10 year strategy to improve the lives of children and young people.

Community Engagement and Prevention Science bring people together to innovate programs that T4A is currently experimenting with, signposting investment opportunities for central and local government in helping communities and agencies take proven models to scale linked to experts around the world.

Our current focus is working in schools to improve mutual respect and understanding, behaviour and school performance for primary school pupils in four economically disadvantaged communities. In 2009 we will be supporting the same communities to celebrate its young leaders.

A hallmark of T4A's work is connecting local innovators with leading thinkers from around the world. Current innovation reflects advances in Pennsylvania and Tanzania. T4A is also expert in high quality implementation of policies and programmes and counts its contribution to Northern Ireland life by measurable improvements in children's health and development.

I look forward to meeting you on the 19th January.

Yours Sincerely

Nuala Magee
Chief Executive
Together 4 All
